DAS KÜHN

Clean lines suffused with light and a transparent unadorned way of building are the main characteristics of "das Kühn". Presiding over the bay of Agrilapotamos, Kipos Afiartis, the southern part of Karpathos the house has about 85 m2. Ideal for families, honeymooner and watersport enthusiasts the chalet sleeps up to 4 adults and 1-2 kids.
Wide glass doors frame the panoramic view, staging the daily spectacle presented by mother nature. Unforgettable sunsets, a starry sky unparalleld to anywhere in the world are daily complemented by the colorful gear of windsurfers and kiters, unraveling their artistry in the sky and on the water. The island of Kassos in the back only completing the incredible scenery.

We went along the lines of the exterior magnitude while designing our holiday home . From the kitchen the open floor plan leads to the living area and then on to an ensuite bed area with the master bath. Just over the terrace and you will find yourself in another spacious bedroom, also with a bath ensuite. The two parts of the house are separated, to give more privacy. They are connected only by the two huge terraces complete with outdoor kitchen and barbecue. In Summer the outdoor living area and the inside living are used as one, almost all of the glass doors will glide inside the walls and disappear completely.
